Nov 18, 2008 - the only holocaust victim that he thanked was Thomas Keneally, for bringing a story of hope and heroism in a period where none existed. He was the author of the book that the movie was based off. The others were friends and associates. He paid respects to the victims afterwards.

Amon Goeth, while barbaric, was a very complex character and Feinnes should've won that year. I've never seen a role that demanded such attention than that of Feinne's interpretation of Goeth.
