Jun 27, 2008 - I was working for Delta in ATL when this happened and I remember exactly where I was when I heard of this catastrophe. I also lost a very good friend (flight-attendant) who was working this flight. She traded jump seats w/ another FA out of FLL, the other FA survived the crash. We were all very saddened at Delta about this :(

Nov 24, 2008 - The plane landed out of control pointed towards the terminal, so if the tanks wouldn't have been there, the plane could have possibly slid into the terminal where the passengers were loading.
