t206kid Says:
Sep 5, 2008 - players today are not as close as they were 40 or 50 yrs ago,, i dont think we will see any close friendships like these guys had
t206kid Says:
Sep 5, 2008 - i agree, but a lot of guys should not be in like bill mazeroski, and i dont like ozzie smith being in, he was a one dimensional player, i would put tim raines in over ozzie smith, Phil got a lot of support and so many people were campaigning for him
laurensadriaanse Says:
Sep 5, 2008 - ted williams said if we had rizzuto we would have won
TeresaR4Evr Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - And if ANYONE had Yogi, they would have won. I love Yogi Berra. His picture should be in the dictionary for "ballplayer".

Sep 5, 2008 - as casey stengel would say you can look it up (yogis world series and big game statistics)
ubersoxfan001 Says:
Sep 5, 2008 - Like Casey Stengel (possibly the greatest manager in history ((only Weaver and McGraw to contend with )) ) said, i never play a game without my man, meaning Yogi. Yogi was the most important player the Yankees had... why do you think he was part of more WS wins than anybody else?
Thatsfun08 Says:
