Aug 5, 2008 - She is definitely (in my opinion) the best "all-round" female dancer of the Royal Ballet. And she is a great Sylvia, I have seen her live at ROH as Sylvia. She is even better in the "huntress" section. She will dance Giselle next season and it will be really interesting IMO... don't think she will ever be a "great Giselle" (cos she doesn't really have the wraith-like look or personality) but she will be a really interesting and original one!

Aug 5, 2008 - What is wonderful about MN is that she is a wonderful technician, very clean and strong and awesome balances and those oh so luxurious turns :) ..... but she doesn't let technique get in the way of 'dancing' and being in the moment. With some dancers you can kind of sense them thinking 'stretch...' 'hold it...' 'prepare... and go' or whatever, but with MN it's like she is eating delicious ice cream, really 'tasting' each step or turn and enjoying it, yet the technique is all there as well! :)

Sep 12, 2008 - She is great! i had the oportunity to see her rehearsal when the royal ballet came to mexico and she was so happy dancing, she laugh sometimes on an arabesque or something, you could see her joy when dancing, and of course her technique is perfect, I love Royal Ballet female dancers, they are great, and Marianela she is like a sparkling star.
