Nov 18, 2008 - What drivers did you use to get the function keys working at 3:11?
Bandito207 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - The function keys work with the drivers included on the driver-cd. I think the driver is called "magic-keyboard"The res. is fine for typing, surfing and pdf reading. The Score in Vista ist 2,6

Nov 20, 2008 - does vista run smooth at silent mode? And can you watch youtube smoothly at silent mode?
Bandito207 Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - Vista runs smooth on silent mode, unfortunetely Video&Gamingperformance is not that great on vista, i presume it´s the videodriver since running videos&games from xp is much better. Right now i´m back at XP because I like a little gaming once in a while.

Nov 22, 2008 - Hey Bandito207, im buying one of these soonish, can you tell me if there are 1 or 2 memory bays and if its 1x1GB or 2x512mb of ram?
Bandito207 Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - Like all the other Atom-based Netbooks the NC10 has only one Memorybay with 1x1gb installed.
gr1moire2112 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - An MSI Wind has two memory bays and can support 2 gigs of RAM total. The Samsung NC10 has one slot but can support a 2 Gig card as an upgrade.

Dec 16, 2008 - If I buy one of these, I'm thinking of putting on Vista. Do all of the supplied drivers work with it, or are there newer ones on the net? thanks
entar925 Says:
Dec 18, 2008 - lol, dont ruin a great netbook with a shitty operating system, and i learned vista sucks from hands-on experiance when i tried it out, its all looks!

Dec 19, 2008 - Hey Bandito207,May i ask, the battery life is better with the XP installed or with the Vista? If it is with the Vista, you were using all the time the Aero? Finally, what about the drivers? In the Samsung's support site all the drivers are mentioned only for XP.Thank you,Bill
ugforthewin Says:
Dec 21, 2008 - The fact this thing can run vista ultimate like this is very impressive - though I would stick with XP for this all the way.
jamesdavid3 Says:
Dec 26, 2008 - The Intel Atom N270 Process which is inside these netbooks are really ment to be for Windows XP, they are not built for power!
Bandito207 Says:
Dec 31, 2008 - Well to answer some of your questions:Batterylife seems pretty much the same in Vista and XP, maybe a bit better in Vista. Upgrading System-Memory is very easy, you just need to open one tiny screw and get access to the Memoryslot. Gamingperformance in Vista is worse then in XP. Drivers are included on the CD, except Touchpad and Graphics, which can easily be found on the manufactors homepage(synaptics/intel)
