Europe has contributed WAY more, in terms of technology, such as advancemnets to physics by Einstein, Newton, to name a few and how about other major dicoveries by famous Europeans such as Copernicus, Columbus. Also the Industrial revolution which is to thank for our current modern world began in Britain.

Without paper, how would Einstein and Newton have recorded their research? without gunpowder people would probably be fighting with swords and shields for a longer period of time.
