Apr 5, 2008 - Cheers Xem, Agnetha deserves to know how much her fans love her. Youtube is available to all, so you never know, she could be watching this!

abbafanglosuk Says:

Apr 5, 2008 - Hi Bill, that's great birthday wishes - she might be reading this! Lets hope that could mean some new songs, she's been beautiful throughout her life!

Apr 5, 2008 - A nice Birthday tribute John, Fine work on the info and lyrics A special song, this is the one that introduced me to her work in SwedishI hope she had a wonderful birthday and that all her wishes come true

abbafanglosuk Says:

Apr 5, 2008 - Cheers Shay, you stay up as late as me! I think we're in the same time zone. The translated lyrics show that the 2 versions are subtly different. Yes its special in that we can make a direct comparison between Agnetha's voice and other major stars who've sung this in English. Her voice is clear and pure, that's where she scores over others. I think she probably had friends and family round for a nice birthday dinner at home. As for wishes, she deserves peace and happiness now.

Apr 6, 2008 - Beautiful song and nice tribute to a special lady. Happy Birthday Agnetha!

abbafanglosuk Says:

Apr 6, 2008 - Hi Rustie, yes its not that well known that Agnetha brought her magical voice into this stage musical. She sings this classic song wonderfully well in a clear pure voice. A Brummie Agnetha would be fairly interesting Rustie, but maybe that wish has something to do with Thomas Ledin.

abbafanglosuk Says:

Apr 6, 2008 - Thanks Kat, I needed to think of something unique that she had done for this birthday tribute. Agnetha's version of this classic stage musical song is ideal, her singing is crystal clear here. I'm sure she had sackfuls of greetings, she's very popular indeed!

redhairkid Says:

Apr 7, 2008 - Good evening, John. 'Tis cheeky, you are! Wolverhampton with a touch of the Emerald if you please! I actually liked her before I heard of Tomas, but now that you mention him...(wouldn't say no!)You've made my day with your cheek!

abbafanglosuk Says:

Apr 7, 2008 - Good evening Rustie, there must be an accent in there somewhere! You've made my evening too ... oops my supper's burning, gotta go and turn it off!

redhairkid Says:

Apr 8, 2008 - You nit! Hope your meal wasn't ruined, otherwise I'll have to cook you one and you won't like that! You're great.

abbafanglosuk Says:

Apr 8, 2008 - I salvaged it Rustie, but the cooker needs a bit of a clean now! I get quite distracted here sometimes. That offer sounds intriguing, I'm not very adventurous with meals usually.

Apr 9, 2008 - Hey John i adore this song thanks for posting this pics for Agnethas birthday.Take care

abbafanglosuk Says:

Apr 9, 2008 - Cheers Matilda, your visits are always appeciated! This is one of Tim & Andrew's earliest stage musical hits. Agnetha's Swedish version is as good as any English version! I wanted something unique for Agnetha's birthday, this setting is very different to her Abba and solo songs. Take care also my good friend Matilda.

Apr 10, 2008 - The picture of Bjorn backstage congratulating Agnetha brings tears to my eyes! They were just the cutiest couple in those early years! In my heart, I can never see them apart. But it was their life and choice. Darn anyway!!Great tribute John, to my/our most favorite female singer of all time! We all love her to death, and hope she had a great 58th birthday, with friends and family all around her. Now, if we could only get her to do one more C-D!!!!

abbafanglosuk Says:

Apr 10, 2008 - Hi Dallas, yes that's quite an emotional backstage scene. I think Agnetha will burst into tears as soon as Bjorn wraps his arms around her! Musically and lovingly they were perfect together, but the stress told as the group demands grew. Agnetha has done so much for us Dallas, its nice that we can do something in return here. I think she had a nice quiet day at home for her birthday, she still doesn't like publicity. Unfortunately the more time that passes, the less likely another album.

May 24, 2008 - Even though I prefer Frida, she is such a great singer with a good voice. I'd been looking for this song after seeing it in a medley of songs from the pre-ABBA years of the ABBA members. Thanks for uploading this. One question: who is Mary Magdalene having doubts about loving?

abbafanglosuk Says:

May 25, 2008 - Hi there, there's no doubting Agnetha's singing abilities - she's got a great vocal range as this song proves! I thought it was a suitable tribute for her birthday last month. I found this quote which explains who Mary is singing about:'Mary loves Jesus, but is worried because he is so unlike any other man she has met ("I Don't Know How To Love Him").'

Jul 1, 2008 - Beautiful rendition of this classic tune. This woman's voice is an instrument of beauty. Powerful when need be but soft and gentle when it is required. She needs to release another album. A voice like this cannot and should not remain silent. Cheers.
