Oct 1, 2008 - Bernie Taupin & Elton John didn't compose Love Song. It was written by their friend Lesley Duncan. Love Song remains one of three songs Elton recorded that he did not write during this period (the others were Pinball Wizard & Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds)

Nov 1, 2008 - Many years ago when I first heard this song, I was shocked to find out it was Elton John. I never associated the accoustic guitar with him, only the piano. I am glad I stand corrected. What a beautiful song. The images it portrays in my mind are awesome!

Dec 23, 2008 - I first encountered this through Olivia Newton John's version on a 1971 single - alas, not a hit even thoug I spent my pocket money on it, but it's a gorgeous trippy version which takes the Elt vocal arrangement. Love it. This is nice too
