Nov 22, 2008 - XD yea I kick them let me tell you, he punishes and 'exercises'. I wont restrain one WITH MY BODY. You took my statement completely out of context. Way to be the better person.By the way I am entirely aware of my poor sentence structure, over-use of commas, and constant run-on sentences. So just keep attacking it because I dont care that I have that problem Im going to be a vet not english teacher.

Nov 22, 2008 - Pavlov is dead but he would have been able to answer as to why cesars methods are abusive. Besides psychology has proven that negative reinforcement only makes the 'victim' hide the action or is only a temporary 'fix'. When I knee a dog the next time I see it and it second-guesses I treat it. Thus I give it an initial negative but reinforce the positive of not jumping and it then associates the positive over the negative- which by-passes the negative reinforcement issue. One answer down.
starwarssuck Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Pavlov would agree with Cesar because his methods evokes an innate, often reflexive, response to stimulus as in the case of Pavlov's Dogs. But Cesar don't depend only on CS, he uses several diferents methods including OCYou need be too blind or have malicious intentions to don't realize that! And please, your charade don't work here, you are Preaching the Dogma of Ian DunbarThat or you Can Not distinguish BTWNegative Reinforcement and Positive PunishmentYes, your answer is down!
arianatheodd Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - I have no idea who Ian Dunbar is. He obviously didnt fix the minpin that was put down, surprised they aired that episode because he failed.Clickers evoke a reflexive response but he doesnt use those. Then again they brainwash dogs and dont let them act "naturally", is that why he doesnt use them? Clickers are like a rabbits scream it hits the brain faster than a word or physical touch. Now that I got from Jane Killion, a Bull Terrier person.
starwarssuck Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - What? How? I mean, He said, ...-...THAT DOG MUST BE PUT DOWN!Like Victoria Stillwell by PHONE???or was owners decision?on some episodes he has been take dogs and change for more suitable dog for owners who are unable to keep the consistence with the rehabilitation.Daddy is one of them.I rest my case!
starwarssuck Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Before Cesar, I haven't any idea who was Ian Dumbass also!I think Ian must be very grateful towards Cesar! LOL!But you said I'm studying to be a Vet, I work on a shelter, I train dogs and... you don't know who is Ian Dumbass? Don't worry, you aren't missing any thing! LOLThe rest of your post is pure nonsenseunworthy of reply...

Are you so stupid that you think the word "negative" automatically denotes some form of punishment? If you're planning on being an all-star vet tech I suggest you understand the difference between negative reinforcement and positive punishment.

Your sentences make no fucking sense! Is it too much to ask for a supposed college student to put together a coherent sentence? P.S. Do you know how stupid you sound when you talk about how you'll gladly kick and knee a dog but at the same time claim to be totally against positive punishment training techniques?

Nov 23, 2008 - i think Cesar is amazing. obviously his methods arent out-dated because they work! duh! the things he says makes sense - ur dog is not going to listen and obey you if it doesnt consider you it's pack leader. the reason why these dogs listen to Cesar is because he has a strong, dominant energy.t herefor, if you also possess this kind of energy, the dog will obey you. simple.
bananahead31 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - that makes absolutely no sense. ur saying Cesar uses brute force and yet ur saying you'll willingly knee a dog?? Cesar never once used brute force to stop that dog from jumping up. wtf?? you are odd.

Dec 21, 2008 - how are his methods barbaric and abusive? lol you treat dogs as dogs if you treat them as humans they attack you. He only touches the dog to let it know that he is in control. Weird.

Dec 29, 2008 - This is the number 1 reason for dogs disbehaving: people thinking "oh, it's so mean to the dog to be strict!". A dog needs to know its boundaries. If, in the wild, a pack member does something the back leader doesn't want it to do, it's going to use its teeth to show the lower-ranked dog what is acceptable - that's what Cesar does with his hand. He makes his finger into "teeth" to correct the dog - and he doesn't harm the dog at all. It's not abusive, it's the natural way for dogs to interact!
