Jun 23, 2008 - the best prog rock ever.

zigil1 Says:

Jun 26, 2008 - sounds like Jethro Tull

Gruntol5 Says:

Jul 15, 2008 - Frustratedartist2: You are correct. The other keyboard player is Ton Scherpenzeel. Bardens was much more inspired, crying shame he left Camel. As so often, the original Camel 4 were never bettered.

bringmeflowers Says:

Jul 21, 2008 - Sounds like Jethro Tull????I have seen camel 3 times and i saw them in sheffield on the farewell tour and they were amazing and latimers guitar sound is so unique and he's got great technique for me he stands up with the best.btw zigil1's comment lol it's like saying oh they sound like Pink Floyd because of the sax solo.Camel is just fantastic simple!

bradleybluesman Says:

Jul 25, 2008 - have you really heard better ?

szgydfg Says:

Aug 6, 2008 - What kind of bass does Doug use?

camelandu2 Says:

Aug 8, 2008 - Doug uses a Fender Jzz Bass, it's Colin on this clip though...

camelandu2 Says:

Aug 8, 2008 - Maybe the flute a little, but Andy is so diffrent from Martin Baree, and Bardens is better than any Tull keyboard player, though Evans was awesome. Tull and Camel are two VERY good bands, but two Very diffrent bands.

camelandu2 Says:

Aug 8, 2008 - Yeah, Bardens on the Hammond (organ) Scherpenzell on some synths, Richie Close on some synths and I think Cris Rainbow plays some synths too. Bardens does most here though, the keyboardplayer Camel ever had...

Speed20001 Says:

Aug 9, 2008 - If you can't find the many clear diferences netween Camel and Jethro Tull, you need to wash your ears or to hear much more music and learn. Both are great bands, two of the best bands of all times, but their styles -although both are progressive rock- are clearly different. Is like comparing Pink Floyd with Yes or Genesis with Dream Theater.

zigil1 Says:

Aug 9, 2008 - You are right. Next time I Won't compare bands that I don't know enough. I heard 1-2 Jethro Tull songs only...so I'm sorry for that comment!

tjamassey Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - No comparison to Jethro Tull! They are miles ahead. Their music broders on jazz but is highly original rock. Another superp group is Focus - same era.

lapicki51 Says:

Oct 17, 2008 - Both are great progressive bands but for me Jethrotull is the best ever with Genesis and The Beatles.

skydaddy Says:

Oct 18, 2008 - Agreed, Tull is a category apart. Trying to create a Pandora station that plays "Tull-like" music is an... interesting exercise.Do you have any links to Focus?

skydaddy Says:

Oct 18, 2008 - I wouldn't really call the Beatles "progressive." I don't have a preference between Tull and Genesis... depends on my mood.

Nov 12, 2008 - Triana, Camel, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Iceberg.... ésto es música creativa y no la mierda de música que se hace ahora.

DaCrazyDiamond Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - im inclined to agree, with the exception of "revolver" the beatles are hardly progressive

DaCrazyDiamond Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - im inclined to agree, with the exception of "revolver" the beatles arent really progressive at allcamel are one of my favourite bands but i really dislike this version of rhayader goes to town

aguscanzani Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - dude, you'll find yourself pretty amazed when seeing that there are hundreds of Camel fans IN ARGENTINA, I'm from Argentina and me and my group of friends love to listen to this.

antiabe Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - isn't there some missing hair, organ and synth in this vid??

rughgmnui Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - anyone has tabs to this song?

camelandu2 Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - hair, definatly, organ, listen closely and you'll hear Bardens on it, synth, too much.
