I swear, a more stubborn bird does not exist. He'll do anything BUT the kitty noise, which, of course, he'd been doing all morning. The kitty noise? Ah, cat fight on the front porch... pretty funny when the goofy bird mimics it for days after.

Bart, our cockatiel, whistles his sweet version. We know he's had at least 3 homes before us, so I have no idea who taught this to him. It does infuriate me that people just keep passing birds off or letting them go. He's been here a year and he's just starting to trust us.
