On 27 October the charity and leading supermarket chain Iceland will launch a new campaign to appeal for information for vulnerable missing people on the labels of millions of milk cartons. The first appeal will be for Andrew Gosden who was 14 years old when he was last seen at Kings Cross Station, London, on 14 September 2007. Andrew had travelled to London from Doncaster. Iceland sells more than 800,000 four pint milk cartons each week that will feature the appeal for Andrew. The awareness raised by the appeals aims to find some of the 210,000 people reported missing in the UK each year.Andrews mother, Glenys Gosden, said: Missing People has been hugely important to us at a time when we feel that we are living in limbo. The appeal for Andrew on Icelands milk cartons is another welcome symbol of hope. Previously Iceland made more than 130 appeals on a limited number of milk cartons from 1997 to 2006. Of those featured more than 40 were found. Chief Executive of Iceland, Malcolm Walker said: This is a fabulous way of raising awareness across the country for this very worthy cause. After several weeks and many empty milk cartons, I finally stomped out a good pour. I have to thank all my friends and family who helped me tweak the final video production.
