A tribute to a classic German film from 1931. It is considered a classic of gay cinema; but at its core is a much broader message, that of a plea for a more humane and compassionate society. It was promptly banned when Hitler came to power; although Goebbels privately expressed his admiration for the film. The film has yet to see a DVD release. I initially planned to make the entire film available but the titles were illegible once the film had been re-rendered to meet this website's filesize restrictions. However, I will make the film available to interested parties in exchange for a donation. In the meantime, I hope you will enjoy this tribute I have compiled for you.
