A lot of people have asked me to make a video of me playing the new guitar hero. So here is me playing Metallica - One.For people who are wondering why I missed so many notes durring the fast solo and think this is nothing big, it was the hyper speed x5 + precision mode options. I got caught of guard by a few combos and the precision mode didn't help when I tried to adjust. Without precision mode I would have done better, but not many people have seen a precision mode video.What is precision mode? The makers of Guitar Hero 3 made the game a lot easier than Guitar Hero 2. People who had trouble with expert on 2 had no problem with it on 3. The game doesn't limit you as much when it comes to timing. Because of this, the makers knew experienced players would be upset. So a code for an option called precision mode was added. This mode makes the game even harder than Guitar Hero 2 by forcing you to hit notes while they are in the center of the note zone rather than giving you a time window.For those wondering why this GH video looks worse than my other ones, its because of how fast everything is moving. Lou Battle, Hyper Speed x5 with Precision Mode On.1st and only try, after you see this video you will realize why additional tries would be pointless and a waste of time.This video was made because some one asked if I was able to do it... well... heres your answer from me... and I can tell you that if theres a person out there who can pull it off (without looking at anything but the game their playing) then that person must have the reflexes of a God... or able to slow down time... or something...Boss battles are deemed impossible with hyper speed x5 on (especially when you add precision mode like I did).Boss battles only show half the fret field, so by the time you notice a note it is already gone.I played this battle song by heart. FC #57 :D!*FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW*The reason the fact that this is without hyperspeed is significant is because on the PS2 version, Knights of Cydonia suffers from horrible lag spikes during the fast strumming when you activate star power. To compensate, most people turn up hyperspeed to 3 or 4 (besides the fact that they see the fast notes better regardless).However, I took it upon myself to make a vid of myself FC'ing it without hyperspeed, FC'ing through the lag spikes. It may not sound like it makes a big difference, but it does. There are 7 people who have FC'ed this song on PS2 (most of them have used hyperspeed), and like 30 on 360. You basically have to not pay attention to the notes and pay attention to staying in time.On any other song, I wouldn't point out the fact that there's no hyperspeed, because it usually doesn't make a difference.However, anyone who knows what's up will tell you that the lag spikes make the PS2 version of Knights of Cydonia harder to FC than the other versions.for those of you who are wondering, this is much easier to fc than misirlou or six.
