This is me shooting 5 rounds through the 8mm Mauser 98. The rounds are 8x57mm 148 grain full metal jacket bullets loaded to 2,850 feet per second. My crappy camera phone doesn't give this rifle any credit. It kicks like a mule although you can't tell that from the crappy video. i put about 100 rounds downrange this morning and I've got an icepack on my shoulder as I'm uploading this. LOL. The hot Turkish loads are even worse at 196 grain bullets at 2,550 fps. The metal buttpad doesn't help either! shooting the k-98...
