I' RIST' , termine dialettale usato per nominare le spighe di grano. Con questo mini-documentario incentrato sulla figura di Michele Sacco ,un vecchio poeta vernacolare di Cerignola immerso in estive scenografie di distesi campi di grano, i due registi trentenni si ritrovano a miscelare immagini analogiche con altre digitali, in una sorta di esperimento visivo. L'intento è quello di massimizzare le differenze tecnologiche e percettive delle immagini, in modo quasi confuso e con un montaggio volutamente sporco, come metafora e al tempo stesso sintomo di una crisi che attraversa l'uomo medio di questi nostri anni zero imbastardito da una cultura meticcia che però spesso dimentiche le proprie umili origini. Infatti, le immagini di una vecchia masseria abbandonata e deturpata, si intrecciano con mietitrebbie moderne, che lasciano poco spazio a quei ricordi che il poeta cerignolano narra, ma esaltano l'imborghesimento di una agricoltura sempre più rivolta verso un'industrializzazione del lavoro. La Cerignola che racconta Michele Sacco è quella che ha visto le rivolte dei contadini , ha visto nascere e crescere il culto di Di Vittorio, l'uomo che ha sintetizzato nella sua stessa figura simbolica l'intera classe bracciantile, è la Cerignola oggi apparentemente nascosta, che nessuno più interroga e provoca al racconto di sé, che rischia così di perdere memoria e coscienza di un itinerario durato più di un secolo e che ha formato, insieme alle storie di altri paesi, anche buona parte della storia d'Italia. Così, nella fantasia dei due giovani registi, un uomo che si perde tra distese di grano rimanda a quella bucolica idea del contadino solitario nel mondo in diretto rapporto con la terra, idea tanto romantica quanto sbiadita. L'universo contadino nei versi del poeta social-popolare si riflette con la sua duplice dimensione reale e mitica, con ispirazioni genuine ed autoctone, rivendicando il valore sociale e culturale dell'autore singolo e contadino. ì rist'
